I'd like to be the first to welcome you to The Confidence Factory Hair Salon. My name is Lynn Ouellette. I am the owner and a stylist at The Confidence Factory.
I am a Florida native and have enjoyed being a stylist for over three decades in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
My evolution in the beauty industry has provided some amazing opportunities. I have been a color educator with a major color company, the creative director of a boutique styling line, have been invited to do stage work with various hair brands, participated in international education events in Europe and Mexico and have had my work published by many industry magazines.
Over the years I have had the distinct honor of being a stylist to hundreds of incredible people.
In 2020 I decided I had given every avenue of the beauty industry a try except salon ownership and I thus began the realization of a life long dream.
The Confidence Factory Hair Salon was born out of a passion to combine everything I love about this industry. Making people feel beautiful and encouraging others to believe in themselves and their dreams whether client or stylist.
My goal as a salon owner is for everyone to feel welcomed and to leave feeling a little more confident in themselves.

My name is Leianna but you can call me “Lei” (Lay, like the bag of chips).
I was born and raised in Bradenton/Sarasota and haven’t lived anywhere else.
Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted a job in the beauty industry. The fact that something so simple as altering someone’s appearance can have such an impact on their life, self-esteem and the way they view themselves was so fascinating to me. It can bring out confidence they never knew was inside. The second I hit the legal working age in Florida, I wiggled myself into my first official salon job as an assistant. Doing mostly cleaning and grunt work but hey, we all have to start somewhere lol. Simply being in the salon environment brought me so much joy.
As soon as I could get into cosmetology school I went, completed the program and gained my license. While in school I managed a salon in Lakewood Ranch, FL where I got to see the business side of things. Although very important, not for me. Rather than watching over things I wanted to get my hands dirty. I wanted to be the person who got the opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life.
I was fortunate enough to apprentice under one of the most talented colorists in the industry, Mrs. Lynn Ouellette. She instilled in me the confidence I have in myself and my work.
I’ve now been living my dream doing hair for the past 5 years. I specialize in blonding, color corrections and fashion color (rainbow hair).
The most important thing to me aside from giving you hair you love is maintaining the integrity&Health of your hair and in some cases bettering it. I will always choose the more gentle approach and products to achieve your hair goal even if that route might be more time consuming.
YOU are my priority. Your happiness is my priority. And most of all giving you the Confidence you deserve to wake up with everyday.
